EWSL operate a policy of sending waste to landfill only when there is no other alternative, be it down to resource and / or space / site issues or that the waste can not be recycled.

EWSL do not own any landfill sites which means that we have no commitment to send waste to be landfilled unnecessarily, therefore we are in a unique position where we can provide unbiased independent advice on how best to handle your waste, ensuring that you get the options to decide on how best to handle your waste for your site.

We believe in the empowerment of clients to have the options put before them and avoid the potential restrictions of the normal one-size-fits-all approach taken by other waste contractors.

Perhaps the biggest incentive for you to speak to us is the fact that the Government have committed to increase Landfill Tax by £8 per ton per annum until it reaches £48 per ton (currently £32 per ton) as part of their strategy to re-direct waste away from landfill sites.
