Where a fault occurs and requires engineering assistance we can in most cases pin-point the cause of the fault, thereby ensuring that we have the correct parts required to complete the repair, avoiding unnecessary down-time.

The Fault & Solution Matrix will prompt the operator to check basic factors are not causing the problem.  The operator selects the fault from a list and the possible solution then appears automatically.

The list of faults are automatically linked to the type of equipment through the stock item number which ensures that only faults and possible solutions are highlighted for that particular machine.

The solution which relates to the type of fault will be shown automatically and indicate whether engineering assistance is required or if it can be resolved by the customer.  If the customer can resolve it, then we will explain what simple measures are required to be taken to resolve the issue.

If your call requires engineering assistance then your call will be processed through to become a job, with a job card issued for the engineer so that he is aware of the fault.
